Sesame Soy Dressing

Ingredients

  • 1 cup canola oil or olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 Tbsp. fresh ginger, grated
  • 1 cup white rice vinegar
  • ¾ cup soy sauce
  • ½ cup sweet pepper sauce
  • 2 Tbsp. sesame oil
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • ¼ cup  chives, minced

Make it:

  1. Put the oil, garlic and ginger into a small pan or pot and heat over medium just until the garlic begins to sizzle. Remove from heat and let it cool a few minutes.
  2. In the meantime, whisk the rest of the ingredients together in a medium bowl, or put them into a large mason jar and shake well. 
  3. Add the oil mixture, whisk or shake and taste for enough salt and vinegar. 

Notes
This dressing will keep in the refrigerator for up to 1 month.
