Thai Dipping Sauce

Ingredients: 

  • 2 cloves garlic, minced 
  • 1 small hot chili, minced (or ¼ tsp. hot sauce) 
  • 3 Tbsp. fish sauce 
  • 3 Tbsp. fresh lime juice 
  • ¼ cup light brown sugar 
  • ¼ cup mixed cilantro, Thai basil, mint 

Make it: 

  1. In a medium bowl, add the garlic, hot pepper, fish sauce, lime juice and brown sugar, stirring until the sugar dissolves.  
  2. Add the fresh herbs and mix into the sauce. Let sit for 30 minutes for the flavors to come together 

Notes:  

You can make this sauce without adding the herbs and it will be good in the refrigerator for 1 month. When you want to use it, just add the herbs and let it rest for 30 minutes before using.
