Ingredients:

  • 6lb Beets
  • 5lb Carrot
  • 1 large Onion
  • ¼ Tsp. Black pepper
  • ¼ Tsp. Garlic powder
  • ¼ Tsp. Ginger powder
  • ¼ Tsp. Ground cumin
  • 1 Tsp. Salt
  • 3 Tbs. Oil

Make it:

  1. Peel and chop the beets and carrots. Slice yellow onions
  2. Heat pot. Put the beets in the pot and let it cook
  3. Add the chopped carrots and let it cook
  4. Add the sliced onions
  5. Stir and let it cook.
  6. After everything in the pot appears purple (the color of the beets) and the beets/ carrots are cooked, add the black pepper, garlic powder, ginger powder, and ground cumin.
  7. Taste test, and add as necessary
