Ingredients:
- 5.5 Cups Chana Dal Beans
- 3 large Yellow onions
- 2 Tbs. Cayenne
- 2 Tbs. Berberae
- 2 Tbs. Paprika
- ½ Tsp. Black pepper
- ½ Tsp. Garlic powder
- ½ Tsp. Ginger powder
- ½ Tsp. Ground cumin
- 1 Tbs. Salt
- 1 cup Oil
Make it:
- Boil Chana Dal Beans
- Mince onion and cook it in a separate pot for 10 minutes.
- Add oil to the onions.
- Once the onions have fully cooked, add Cayenne, paprika, and berbere spices. Stir.
- Add boiled water to the onions then stir.
- Once the chana dal beans have fully cooked, add it to the pot of onions.
- Stir thoroughly until fully cooked.
- Add black pepper, garlic powder, ginger powder, ground cumin, and salt. Stir.
- Taste and add as needed.
Notes: This will require 2 stoves and boiled water.
