Meet Our Summer Interns: Barbara

Barbara Sykes is a recent Returned Peace Corps Volunteer (2014-2016) who served as a health educator and youth development/empowerment specialist in Ghana, West Africa for 26 months. Prior to her adventure in Ghana, Barbara was with Seattle Cancer Care Alliance and Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center. She has always have had a passion for wellness, health and healing and continues to look for ways where she can be of service in the community. She loves international films, dancing, baking and letter writing.
