A heart-felt thanks to all of you who dined with us at Cafe Presse last evening! The food was excellent and included lots of greens and herbs for our garden (it’s more like a farm these days…) the wine was lovely and service was, as is usual, warm and professional.
It was a lively and generous group of folks, some new to Cafe Presse and some new to GPS.
The perfect little basil starts were planted by our youth and nurtured to this stage by Jeff Konkle, our chef/gardener extraordinaire! We had 40 starts and they were all taken home for future pesto.
Glassybaby generously loaned us votives for the tables. The greens and deep orange-reds are the colors of Cafe Presse and Green Plate Special. Did I mention we love Glassybaby and their support?
All in all a special and powerful evening! Oh and yes, we raised almost $5000 in the bargain!!
